Karli Heimbecker, Katie Kirk, and Lori Beth Adams all started strong in the first round of the Western Junior Girls Tournament. The 83rd Western Junior Girls tournament is held in Durham NC this year at Hope Valley CC. There are two rounds of stroke play qualifying followed by the match play tournament.
Karli shot 70 and is in 2nd after day one. Katie shot 72 which puts her in t4 right behind PKB champion, Allison Emrey. Lori Beth shot 75 for a t13 after the opening round. The top 32 players advance to the Championship Division of match play.
