Overbey, Wotnosky lead at Tour Championship

On Saturday, September 15, the 2012 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the first round of the PKBGT TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP @ Ocean Ridge Plantation (Lion’s Paw Golf Links). After round one, Cecily Overbey (High Point, NC 2014) is leading the field by one stroke with a score of 76. The Futures Division field features 22 players highlighted by four of the top 10 players of the 2012 PKBGT Order of Merit lists. After round one, Haeley Wotnosky (Wake Forest, NC 2018) is leading the field by three strokes with a score of 75. Weather on Sunday looks like another beautiful day with sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s. It should be an exciting end to a great event. Who will be golden?
