LAST CHANCE Invitational Qualifier Event Preview

The 2012 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour tees off Saturday, November 3 at the LAST CHANCE Invitational Qualifier @ Legacy Golf Links. Legacy Golf Linksis a challenging course for this one-day event. The top four finishers in the qualifier will receive automatic entry into the PKBGT INVITATIONAL @ Grandover Resort (East Course) in November. The event features a field of 26 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 400 members and 94 alumni in the collegiate ranks.

The field features 26 golfers, highlighted by four of the top players on the 2012 PKBGT Order of Merit lists, including: Moon Cheong (Charlotte, NC 2017) in 7th position, Madison Elliott (Little River, SC 2017) in 30th position, Marisa Daquil-Kawabe (Fayetteville, NC 2016) in 33rd position, and Carley Cox (China Grove, NC 2015) in 36th position. Ashley Barringer (Laurinburg , NC 2014), Alison Couse (Trinity, NC 2014), Kiana Jones (Columbia, SC 2015), Elizabeth Nguyen (Pinehurst, NC 2017), and Ava Wallace (Cary, NC 2017) will be playing in their first PKB event this season hoping to capture one of the four invitations to the PKBGT INVITATIONAL tournament.

The LAST CHANCE Invitational Qualifier @ Legacy Golf Links brings together the top players from the Carolinas and Virginia. It should be an exciting & challenging event.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers low cost, nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
