Three Events Remain on 2009 Order of Merit Tour Standings!!

Two 1-Day Events Next Week

The PKBGT will make a return trip to Cabarrus Country Club in Concord, NC next Tuesday. Cabarrus is host to the Cabarrus Classic, a EGolf Professional Tour event and features challenging greens and a good test of golf.

The PKBGT will make its first visit to Meadowlands Golf Course in Winston-Salem next Thursday. Meadowlands is a Hale Irwin designed course and a training center for Robert Linville’s Precision Golf School. Meadowlands is a very playable layout that should be a great venue for the ladies.

Precision Golf Junior Girls Championships (PKB Order of Merit Championship)

Robert Linville’s Precision Golf School will sponsor the season ending PKB Order of Merit Championship. The championship will complete the tours order of merit standings. The event will be at Bryan Park GC in Greensboro, NC, home of Robert Linville’s Precision Golf School. Girls will compete on the Players Course & the Champions Courses during the event. Also, Bryan Park GC is home to the Bryan Collegiate, one of the nations strongest invitational’s for college teams in the ACC including Duke, North Carolina, Wake Forest, and is also set to host the U.S. Public Links in 2010.

Following the Precision Girls’ Championships, the Top 5 finishers in each division in the Order of Merit Standing will be recognized. In addition, the Champion of each list will be awarded an AJGA Tournament Exemption (Futures Division leader gets a AJGA Jr-All Star exemption).

Also, the final standings of the Order of Merit Standings will be the qualifications utilized for invitations to the year end PKBGT event in November. More details on this event will be coming out soon!!!
