Aiken, S.C. — The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour headed south to Woodside Country Club (Cupp Course) to test the skill of top regional players for the 2024 Regional Invitational.
Going into the final round it was anyone’s tournament to win in the Prep Preview division. Cadence Nance (Sharpsburg, GA 2026) shot an opening round of 77 (+5) to lead the field with seven girls within five shots of the lead after day one. Vivian Lott (Fayetteville, GA 2029) came out strong on day two with the only under-par round of the weekend shooting a 70 (-2). This superb round from Lott helped push her from T10 to T1 to force a playoff with Nance after the conclusion of round two. Vivian and Cadence proceeded to a playoff with pars on the first hole to push the playoff to a second hole. Both missing the green in regulation, Lott secured a par with an excellent up and down to win the playoff and title as champion of the Prep Preview division.

Violet Northcott (Mills River, NC 2026) and Christine Park (Norwood, NJ 2029) both finished tied for third place. Northcott shot a 76 (+4) on day two to stay on the podium and Park shot a 75 (+3) with four birdies to move up one position.
In the Futures National division it was also a tight race to the end. Sloan McKinney (Denver, NC 2030) lead the pack after day one with a round of 81 (+9) with half of the field still in contention to win the tournament after the first round. McKinney did not let the pressure get to her on day two, coming out with a day two score of 79 (+7) which was good enough to secure the win in the Futures National division. Her and Olivia Hsu (Suwanee, GA 2031) were the only two Futures players to break 80 for the weekend with Olivia’s second round score of 78 (+6) that moved her into second place for the tournament. Claire Kim (Lexington, SC 2027) and Elin Sarstrand (Spartanburg, SC 2029) came in third and fourth place respectively.
