Williamsburg, VA The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour headed to Snow Hill, NC for the opening round of the Cutter Creek Girls Classic at Cutter Creek Golf Club

 

Bell National

Julia Herzberg (Aberdeen, NC 2026) set the pace on Saturday, making two birdies in her opening round 73 (+1). Julia will have a two shot lead entering the final 18 holes. Chasing her will be Victoria Fan (Charlotte, NC 2024). The Charlotte native made two birdies of her own and posted a 75 (+3). Three sit tied for third place scoring matching 77’s: Faith Garcia (Suffolk, VA 2023), Ella June Hannant (Pikeville, NC 2026), and Karysn Roberts (Pikeville, NC 2024).

Rose Hall (Yorktown, VA 2029) got off to a hot start on Saturday by making four birdies on her way to having a six shot lead entering the final round. Karoline Sweet (Moseley, VA 2028) made two birdies and sits in second place alone following her opening 82 (+10). Tied for third are Jasmine Limm (Chesterfield, VA 2029) and Demi Mahiai (Chesapeake, VA 2028), who sit eight shots behind entering tomorrows final round.

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
