The event featured a field 21 players from different LPGA-USGA\u00a0Girls Golf Programs across the country.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\/images\/logo_ggtc.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"20\" vspace=\"20\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The second round of the event\u00a0was a Best Ball format where each player plays her own ball and the lower score of the two players is the team score for each hole. In the Championship Division, Madison Branum (Lexington, SC 2018) and Jordan Guyton (Columbia, SC 2019) shot one under par with a score of 71 to place first with a two-day total of 153. In the Futures Division, Hannah Lindemann (Charlotte, NC 2021) and Shea Smith (Charlotte, NC 2022) shot three over par with a score of 75 to place first with a two-day total of 160. In the Discovery Division, Savannah Hawkins (Hurricane, WV 2024) and Taylor Sargent (Milton, WV 2023) shot two under par with a score of 34 to place first with a two-day total of 71.<\/p>\n<p>PKBGT returns to action on Saturday &amp; Sunday, July 15-16, 2017 with the <a href=\"http:\/\/pkb.shotstat.com\/Tour\/TournamentDetail.aspx?TID=5499\">2GG APPAREL CHAMPIONSHIP<\/a>\u00a0at Coastal Carolina in Conway, SC!<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
