The goal of \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\/schedule.php?TID=4\">North\u00a0Carolina One-Day Series<\/a>\u00a0events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a\u00a0premium golf course.<\/p>\n<p>Featured in the 11-player Prep One-Day NC Series is Samantha DeBusk (Lexington, NC 2017). Samantha is currently ranked 31st on the Storie Apparel Order of Merit &#8211; NC, and is coming off of a T3 finish at the first NC One-Day Series Event of the 2017 season at Forest Oaks Country Club. She looks to continue her success this weekend at Monroe Country Club.<\/p>\n<p>Featured in the 29-player Futures One-Day NC Series is Ella Kue (King Mountain, NC 2023) and Shea Smith (Charlotte, NC 2022). Both players are coming off of excellent performances last weekend at the SC One-Day Series Event at The Windermere Club. Ella is coming into this weekend with her first PKBGT win of the season, and Shea is coming off of a 4th place finish in her latest tournament. Both players look to continue their success this weekend at the second NC One-Day Series Event of the 2017 season at Monroe Country Club.<\/p>\n<p>Awards will be presented to the top-4 finishers in each series. \u00a0We look forward to a great event!<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
