Fox, Crumrine Win One-Day @ Chapel Ridge GC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On , August 8th, the 2016\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0plays the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pkb.shotstat.com\/Tour\/TournamentDetail.aspx?TID=4042\">One-Day Open Series<\/a>\u00a0at Chapel Ridge Golf Club. Chapel Ridge has hosted PKBGT events in 2010 and 2011. \u00a0One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to &#8220;get in to the swing of things&#8221; playing tournament golf. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\/images\/courses\/chapelridge.gif\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"20\" vspace=\"20\" \/>premium golf course. The event features a field of 28 players from the PKB Girls\u2019 Golf Tour, the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour.<\/p>\n<p>Winning the Prep Series after a one-hole playoff \u00a0was Lotte Fox (Raleigh, NC 2020) with a score of 76. \u00a0In second place was Natalie Warren (Raleigh, NC 2017) also with a 76. \u00a0In third place was Meghan McPeak (Chapel Hill, NC 2017) with a 79. \u00a0In fourth place was Greer Valaquenta (Morrisville, NC 2018) with an 80. \u00a0In fifth place matching cards was Kayla Smith (Burlington, NC 2019) with an 81.<\/p>\n<p>Winning the Futures Series was Caroline Crumrine (Wilmington, NC 2020) with a round of 78. \u00a0In second place was Kate Hawkins (Littleton, NC 2018) with an 81. \u00a0In third place by one stroke with an 82 was Annabelle Millard (Indian Trail, NC 2022). \u00a0In fourth place with an 85 was Victoria Ladd (Greensboro, NC 2019). \u00a0In fifth place matching cards was Amanda Kang (Kernersville, NC 2018) with an 86.<\/p>\n<p>The PKBGT returns to action with the Srixon Tour Championship at Greenville CC on August 13-15!<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
