The course has served as host to multiple college events and is a great course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 37 players from 17 different LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Programs across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The event will features two-girl teams structured in three divisions: Championship, Futures, and Discovery. Round one will be a Team Choice Scramble where each player hits then plays from the preferred shot and round two will be a Four Ball Stroke Play where each player plays her own ball and the lower score of the two players is the team score each hole.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Team Championship at Golden Horseshoe Golf Club (Green Course) brings together players from from Arizona, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina,\u00a0New Jersey,<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia,\u00a0and West Virginia. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
