On Sunday, June 7, the 2015 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> concluded the Wolfpack Classic<\/a> at Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University. Lonnie Poole, home to the North Carolina State University<\/a> women’s golf teams was a demanding course for this two-day tournament. The event featured a field 67 players from the PKB Girls\u2019 Golf Tour, the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 425 members in 2014 and over 350 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Winning the Prep Series was Emily Hawkins (Lexington, NC 2018) with rounds of 71-73-144. \u00a0This victory comes just days after her win at the 20th NC Junior Girls’ Championship! \u00a0In second place this weekend was Caroline Cahill (Wilmington, NC 2017) with rounds of 74-74-148. \u00a0In third place was Mogie Adamchik (Raleigh, NC 2017) with rounds of 79-77-156. \u00a0In fourth place matching cards was Taylor Waller (Canonsburg, PA 2018) with rounds of 82-78-160. \u00a0In fifth place matching cards was Olivia John (Browns Summit, NC 2018) with rounds of 81-79-160. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Winning the Futures Series was Lotte Fox (Raleigh, NC 2020) with rounds of 81-75-156. \u00a0In second place was Alexia Siehl (Fort Mill, SC 2022) with rounds of 78-83-161. \u00a0In third place was Siana Wong (Summerfield, NC 2020) with rounds of 83-82-165. \u00a0In fourth place was Amanda Hill (Hillsborough, NC 2016) with rounds of 82-84-166. \u00a0In fifth place was Maria Atwood (Holly Springs, NC 2022) with rounds of 84-83-167.<\/p>\n

The PKBGT returns to action on Thursday and Friday June 23-24 at Bryan Park of the PGS Junior Girls’ Championship! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
