Bryan Park, home of the UNCG\u00a0women&#8217;s golf team and the Bryan Ntational Women&#8217;s Tournament, is a tricky course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 4 alumni players from the PKB Girls\u2019 Golf Tour, the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour .\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Collegiate Series field features 4 golfers, 3 of whom who are PKBGT Alumni and playing in college. Ashlii Thompson (UNC Pembroke), Rhea Bhatia (Queens), and Tessa Young (Lenoir Rhyne). Ashlii is also the individual and half of the team champion from the first event at Salisbury CC, she fired a 67 on the first day of that event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0It should be a great event!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
