The South Carolina One-Day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to &#8220;get in to the swing of things&#8221; playing tournament golf. The goal of \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\/schedule.php?code=O&amp;TID=11\">S<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\/schedule.php?code=O&amp;TID=11\">outh Carolina One-Day Series<\/a>\u00a0events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a\u00a0premium golf course.<\/p>\n<p>Featured in the 5-player Prep Series are \u00a0Sydney Abruzzino (Myrtle Beach, SC 2017) and\u00a0\u00a0Taylor Williams (Lincolnton, NC 2017).\u00a0 Sydney is currently ranked 91 on the PKBGT Prep Series Order of Merit and had a top-five finish with a 2nd place finish at the NC One-Day Series event at Carolina Trace this season. \u00a0Taylor is making her Prep debut after finishing inside the top-15 at the PKBGT Futures Open at Sapona Ridge with a tie for 14th.<\/p>\n<p>Featured in the 13-player Futures One-Day Series are Ashley Milliken (Charlotte, NC 2019), and \u00a0Mary Kathryn Talledo (Blythewood, SC \u00a02021). \u00a0Ashley is ranked T-17th on the PKBGT Futures One-Day Order of Merit and recently placed T-4 at the NC One-Day Series @ Pinehurst No.9. \u00a0Mary Kathryn is ranked T-45th on the Futures Order of Merit and had two top-15 finishes this season. \u00a0Layla is ranked second on the Futures One-Day Order of Merit and had three top-10 finishes for her first year playing with PKBGT.<\/p>\n<p>Awards will be presented to the top-5 finishers in each series. \u00a0We look forward to a great event!<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
