Fawn Lake, nicknamed Arnold Palmer&#8217;s &#8220;Virginia Masterpiece&#8221;, is a demanding course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 31 players from the PKB Girls\u2019 Golf Tour, the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Winning the Prep Series with rounds of 78-77-155 was Erica Whitehouse \u00a0(Mechanicsville, VA 2017). \u00a0In second place today was Rebecca DiNunzio\u00a0(Norfolk, VA 2019) with rounds of 81-78-159. \u00a0In third place was Taylor Miano (Dobbs Ferry, NY 2020) with rounds of 79-82-164. \u00a0In fourth place was Cynthia Tu (Vienna, VA 2019) 82-81-163. \u00a0In fifth place was Julia Calomiris (Washington, DC 2018) with rounds of 85-79-164. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Winning the Futures Series was Tatum Walsh (Midlothian, VA 2021) with rounds of 78-84-162. \u00a0In second and third place matching cards were Kathrine Schuster (Kill Devil Hills, NC 2021) and Sophie Simon (Potomac, MD\u00a02021) each with a 163 two-day total. \u00a0In fourth place was Vynie Chen (Centreville, VA 2020) with rounds of 84-82-166. \u00a0In fifth place was Alyssa Cong (Germantown, MD 2020) with scores of 90-78-168. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The PKBGT returns to action next week on Saturday-Sunday, April 30 &amp; May 1st with the<a href=\"http:\/\/pkb.shotstat.com\/Tour\/TournamentDetail.aspx?TID=3928\"> Metrolina Classic @ Rock Hill Country Club<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0in Rock Hill, NC .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> is an initiative of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers low cost, nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
