The final round of the \u00a0Mid-Atlantic Qualifier at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club is in the books.<\/p>\n

First round leader\u00a0Jinny Park (2019, Fairfax, VA) went wire to wire to claim the title. \u00a0Park’s rounds of 76 and 81 were good enough for a 1-shot victory over Sophie Simon (2021, Potomac, MD). \u00a0Danielle Suh (2020, Herndon, VA) finished 2 shots back at 159 to take 3rd place. \u00a0Melissa Meng (2020, Blacksburg, VA) and\u00a0Casey Morrow (2017, Mars, PA) tied for 4th at 160.<\/p>\n

With their top-4 finish in the qualifier, each qualifies for\u00a0the 2015 PKBGT Invitational on November 7th-9th at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, NC. \u00a0The PKBGT Invitational is the first event of the 2016 season and features the strongest field on the PKBGT.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers low cost, nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
