Precision Golf students Katherine Perry of Cary, NC and Abby Bools of Hickory, NC both qualified for the US Women’s Open Championship regional qualifying tournament this week.\u00a0 Playing at the Local Qualifier held at Forest Creek Golf Club in Pinehurst, NC, Perry and Bools were 2 or 17 players to qualify from the event. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour Order of Merit leader Perry fired level par 72 to take 3rd place while East Carolina University stand-out Bools’ 77 took 11th place.\u00a0\u00a0 The Sectional Qualifying <\/a>will be played at Carolina Trace GC on June 11th.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
