A favorite tour stop for the girl&#8217;s, Pine Needles is owned by the tours Honorary Chairwoman Peggy Kirk Bell and has hosted 3 United States Women&#8217;s Open Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the Bell Division, Madison Moosa (2017, Charlotte, NC) claimed her third PKBGT title with a 3 shot victory with a 5 over par performance, \u00a072-75-147.\u00a0\u00a0 Madison had two birdies and three bogeys on her front nine to take a 5-shot lead.\u00a0 A back nine 39 secured the 3 shot victory over Shannon Brooks (2o15, Vienna, VA), 75-75-150.\u00a0 First round leader<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Sarah Bae (2013, Raleigh, NC) finished in third with a 71-81-152.\u00a0 Madison claims an exemption into\u00a0the PKBGT Tour Championship with her victory and moves into 2nd position on the <a href=\"http:\/\/pkb.shotstat.com\/Tour\/TourStandings.aspx\">PKB Order of Merit Lists<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gina Kim (2018, Chapel Hill, NC)\u00a0made her official PKBGT debut\u00a0in style leading wire to wire to claim her first PKBGT title.\u00a0 Gina opened with a 1 under par 70 and followed it up with a 77 to claim a 6 shot victory over <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">PKBGT Kick-Off Classic champion Amy Wooten (2018, Clinton, NC).\u00a0 Amy shot a 74 on day 2 to tie for the best round of the day with Naomi Mitchell (2018, Norfolk, VA) to claim 2nd, 79-74-153. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> 2011 Order of Merit runner-up  and defending champion Jennifer Chang (2018, Cary, NC) finished third at 77-79-156 with Mitchell in 4th at 86-74-160.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/pkb.shotstat.com\/Tour\/TournamentDetail.aspx?Show=P&amp;TID=355\">See Full Results Here<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> is an initiative of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers.  Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers low cost, nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf.
