Bermuda Run, NC – <\/b>The\u00a0<\/i>Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> headed to <\/i>Bermuda Run Country Club<\/a> in Bermuda Run, NC for the second round of the 15th PKBGT Invitational.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

It was a beautiful day for golf at Bermuda Run! Second round action of the 15th PKBGT Invitational began at 9:30 am and players arrived ready to make a charge on moving day! Macie Rasmussen <\/strong>(Chesapeake, VA \u00a02027) started the day with a four shot lead and played a steady round on the difficult East Course at Bermuda Run Country Club. A pair of birdies on 17 and 18 grew her lead to five strokes.<\/p>\n

Hannah Hall <\/strong>(Rockledge, FL 2026) made the most birdies in the field today with 5 including on 17 and 18. The two birdies moved her into solo second place. The only player in the field to shoot even par or better in the first and second round was Riley Grimm <\/strong>(Pinehurst, NC 2028). Birdies on 15 and 17 put her in position to make a comeback.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sarah Lydic <\/strong>(Ocean View, DE 2024) and sisters Elsie MacCleery<\/strong> (Crozet, VA 2025) and Kennedy MacCleery<\/strong> (Crozet, VA 2027) all sit within striking distance and have proven that they know how to go low! There will be a shotgun start tomorrow at 10:00 am at Bermuda Run Country Club’s East Course. It will be an exciting final round to crown the 15th PKBGT Invitational Champion!<\/p>\n

Founded in 2007 by the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as a local girls\u2019 golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina, the tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls.
