Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u00a0Golf Tour extends partnership with Notah Begay III Jr Golf National Championship to return All Girls National Championship to the Golf Channel<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

This continued partnership between NB3 JGNC and the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour will\u00a0provide a platform that has never been done before for women\u2019s golf. Building on the success of\u00a0the first all-girls PKBGT\/NB3 Girls Golf National Championship televised on Golf Channel in\u00a0December of 2022, the two junior golf leaders will bring more opportunities to young, aspiring\u00a0female golfers to make their dreams become a reality.<\/p>\n

In partnership with title sponsors Short Par 4 and the R1 Companies, the NB3 JGNC is entering\u00a0its 4th year. A two-stage nationwide qualifying process for both boys and girls culminate in a\u00a054-hole National Championship televised on a 2-hour show on Golf Channel for each gender.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been an important initiative for our Series, but we could not be more excited to continue\u00a0this unique partnership and all girl\u2019s championship to the junior golf circuit,\u201d said Notah Begay\u00a0III, founder of the NB3 Foundation, four-time PGA TOUR winner and NBC Sports broadcaster.<\/p>\n

The PKBGT has solidified themselves as the premier girl\u2019s golf tour that actively increases\u00a0participation and interest in girl\u2019s golf throughout the country. Their mission is to provide a\u00a0venue for aspiring collegiate golfers to help them develop, compete, and be recognized\u00a0throughout affordable, top-level tournament competitions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PKBGT is excited to extend our partnership with the NB3 series to grow more quality\u00a0competitive golf opportunities for the girls\u201d said Mike Parker, Tour Director of the PKBGT. \u201cThe\u00a0Girls National Championship Series will expand the exposure and reach for girls across the\u00a0country, and we are excited to host the second girls-only championship in November 2023!<\/p>\n

The 2022 Girls National Championship Series featured just over 1,000 girls competing across 22\u00a0regional locations with 137 earning their spot to play at Koasati Pines for the PKBGT\/NB3 Girls National Championship on the Golf Channel. Through the continued partnership, increased\u00a0capacity for girls\u2019 participation at the Regional Finals level nearly doubled and we aim to\u00a0continue its growth moving forward.<\/p>\n

What makes the series unique is there are no rankings, points, membership fees or requirements\u00a0to register, players simply must have an interest in competing and can find a Local Qualifier near\u00a0them to register. To find out more, visit www.jgnc.org.<\/a><\/p>\n

Notah Begay III Jr Golf National Championship:<\/strong>
\nThe Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship is in its fourth year and aims to grow\u00a0the game of golf by providing a platform for players to compete against the best juniors in the\u00a0Country in a true, open qualifying series. The National Championship will be televised on Golf\u00a0Channel in prime time that will be airing over 4 hours of broadcast time that has never been done\u00a0before.\u00a0These players will have a chance to be recognized on a platform like no other, increasing\u00a0the chances\u00a0to #getNOTAHced\u00a0by college coaches around the country. The Notah Begay III\u00a0Junior Golf National Championship is open to boys and girls ages 10-18.<\/p>\n

Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour:<\/strong>
\nFounded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as a\u00a0local girls\u2019 golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina. The Tour began as a simple concept:\u00a0create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative\u00a0yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the Tour focuses on\u00a0developing tournament experience at the player\u2019s pace. The 2023 season will feature over 130\u00a0tournaments across the country including over 2,500 girls, the PKBGT is the largest girl\u2019s only\u00a0Tour in the country.
