Southern Pines, NC-<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> traveled back to the home of our namesake and the host of four US Women\u2019s Opens for the Peggy Kirk Bell Junior Girls. Due to a large application pool, a second site has been added to host a secondary Futures National field. The PKB Junior II will be contested at Southern Pines Golf Club, a Pine Needles Donald Ross property.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Bell National<\/h2>\n

Elsie MacCleery\u00a0<\/b>(Crozet, VA 2025) picked up where she left off in Pinehurst following her PKBGT Tournament of Champions victory firing a 1-over 73 on Saturday. Elsie made five birdies on the day and holds the overnight lead. High Point commit,\u00a0Anna Howerton\u00a0<\/strong>(Winston Salem, NC 2023) is right on Elsie’s heels. Anna made two birdies on her way to an opening 75. Emerson Dever<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>(Durham, NC 2025) played the front nine in 1-under par and is tied for third. Sharing third place overnight is Alisa Pressley<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>(Hoschton, GA 2025). The Georgia native played a consistent round and made 15 pars on the day. Rhianna Goonertne<\/strong> (Plymouth Meeting, PA 2025) and Vidhi Lakhawala<\/strong> (Kendall Park, NJ 2026) sit four back and tied for fifth.<\/p>\n

Prep Preview<\/h2>\n

Reagan Garnsey<\/strong> (Camden-Wyoming, DE 2025) shot the round of the day in the Prep Preview division. Her round of 75 (+3) included three birdies and gave her a four \u00a0shot lead with 18 holes to play. Closest to Reagan is Isabelle LeBlanc<\/strong>\u00a0(Bethesda, MD 2026). Isabelle’s round was highlighted by birdieing holes 6 and 8. Coming off a medalist performance at the Regional Tournament of Champions,\u00a0Mackenzie Cline<\/strong> (Cary, NC 2025) is right in the mix in Pinehurst. She shot an opening 80 and just five back entering Sunday. Sophie Cao<\/strong>\u00a0(McLean, VA 2027), Emma Mae Stover<\/strong>\u00a0(Hendersonville, NC 2026), and Jasmine Yeung<\/strong>\u00a0(Charlotte, NC 2025) are tied for fourth and are all looking to go low tomorrow to catch Reagan.<\/p>\n

Audrey Liu<\/strong> (Weddington, NC 2027) and Hailey Moffett<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>(Watkinsville, GA 2026) sit just two behind Salloni after opening with matching 82’s. Ella Ott<\/b> (High Point, NC 2023) made a birdie on the par-three ninth and is three behind the leader entering tomorrows final round.<\/p>\n
