Greensboro, NC –<\/strong> On Saturday, August 27th, the <\/i>Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> played a South Carolina Series event at Cobbs Glen Country Club.<\/i><\/p>\n

Cobbs Glen Country Club was a great and challenging venue for our players to play on and players arrived ready to get their rounds going with the opening tee time at 12:30 pm.\u00a0At the end of the day, three girls stood atop the leaderboards, each the champion of their division in the South Carolina Series at Cobbs Glen Country Club.<\/p>\n

Prep Division<\/b><\/h2>\n

Emma Mae Stover<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>(Hendersonville, NC 2026) made a pair of birdies on her opening nine in route to scoring a 78(+6) on the day. It would be enough to win the tournament by a stroke. Kathryn DeLoach<\/strong>\u00a0(Athens, GA 2026) made 12 pars in her round and shot 79(+7) to finish in second place.\u00a0Lindley Cox<\/strong> (Taylors, SC 2023) made six pars over her last nine holes helping propel her into third place. Cadence Nance<\/strong>\u00a0(Sharburgs, GA 2026) shot a 39(+3) on the front nine and ultimately finished in fourth place.<\/p>\n

Futures Division<\/h2>\n

Minyan Ou\u00a0<\/b>(Shelby, NC 2028) made 10 pars in her first nine holes on her way to posting a 80(+8). Her 80 would be 5 shots clear of second place giving her the championship trophy. Emmeline Niolon<\/strong> (Athens, GA 2025) birdied the par-5 15th hole on her way to a second place finish. Katelyn Cox<\/strong>\u00a0(Taylors, SC 2026) had a birdie of her own on the 5th hole and would finish in third place.<\/p>\n

Discovery Division<\/h2>\n

Kennedy Gallentine\u00a0<\/b>(Iron Station, NC 2029) birdied the par-5 8th hole and would shoot 38(+2) for the day giving her a three shot victory. Minlin Ou<\/strong> (Shelby, NC 2032) started off hot birding the second and third hole. She would shoot 41(+5) and finish in solo second place. Willa Green<\/strong>\u00a0(Greenville, SC 2030) scored a 52(+16) for her nine holes and would finish in third place.<\/p>\n
