The tenth edition of the Players Championship will be contested on the same course as the annual Liz Murphy Collegiate, one of the strongest fields in college women\u2019s golf every year. UGA Golf Club, a top 10 university golf course, will welcome the best of the Bell National, Prep Preview, and Futures National, the PKB Girls Tour, has to offer. <\/i><em>The field consists of players from eleven states as well as Panama and Quebec, Canada.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Bell National<\/h2>\n<p>With the entire field experiencing high winds and cold temperatures today, the 2021 PKBGT National Tournament of Champions Winner takes the overnight lead. <strong>Elizabeth Rudisill<\/strong> (Charlotte, NC &#8211;\u00a0 2025) had a great round of 73 to kick of the event and gives her a four shot advantage going into tomorrow. Rudisill is hunting for her second Bell National title on the PKB circuit. She hopes to get that done tomorrow at the UGA Golf Course. Elizabeth went out with a 37 (+2) and in with a 36 (-1). She, like most of the field, was fighting the strong wind gusts that were getting up to 26 mph in the afternoon. The Charlotte, NC native recovered with two birdies in her last seven holes\u00a0 for a round of 73. Davis takes a one shot lead heading into the final round tomorrow. The entire field battled wet and windy conditions all day long, that didn&#8217;t stop the flat stick from heating up as Davis carded two birdies on the day en route to an opening round of 79 (+7). It&#8217;s been nearly six and a half months since the Honea Path native hoisted a trophy. Her last victory came at the 2021 South Carolina Regional Series event at Columbia Country Club. It&#8217;ll be a fun final pairing for Davis as she&#8217;ll be joined by <b>Trisha Shivaiah<\/b> (Milton, GA 2024) and <strong>Elizabeth Sullivan<\/strong> (Atlanta, GA 2025). Shivaiah and Sullivan finished at (+8) and (+9). Black carded two birdies on holes three and eight to help get her out at 36 (+1). However, Kallyn is not alone atop the leaderboard as <strong>Ariel Collins <\/strong>(Locust Grove, GA 2028) is keeping her on her toes. Collins started off her round with a bogey on the first hole, just to follow it up with a Hole-In-One on the 106-yard Par 3 third. With a couple more birdies on the back to help offset the bogeys on the front, Ariel finished out the day with a 76 (+4). Joining <strong>Black<\/strong> and<strong> Collins<\/strong> in the final grouping tomorrow is <strong>Molly Spector<\/strong> (Atlanta, GA 2028).
