Raleigh, NC-<\/b> The\u00a0Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> opened play at the Wolfpack Classic at Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Saturday at the home of the NC State Women’s golf program and the NC State PGA Golf Management program. Tomorrow’s final round will be streamed on Junior Golf Live.<\/i><\/p>\n

Bell National<\/h2>\n

Continuing her trip on the East Coast, Eva Pett<\/strong> (Denver, CO 2022) finds herself with the overnight lead at her second event of the week. Eva competed earlier this week at Lake Presidential Golf Club in the HJ GLOVE GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP. Eva carded three birdies on the day, including two on her homeward nine to finish round one at (-2). Eva’s nearest competitor, Grace Ridenour<\/strong> (Raleigh, NC 2025), sits three back on the Denver native after a round of 73 (+1).<\/p>\n

Kim, Lily Rowe<\/strong> (Raleigh, NC 2022), and Sloane Spessard<\/strong> (Raleigh, NC 2024) hold a one-shot lead over Mary Paige King<\/strong> (Clemmons, NC 2023) after rounds of 74 (+2). Jenna and Lily are vying for win number five and two respectively, while Sloane is hoping to break free and win her first PKBGT National Series title.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.\u00a0 The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
