The Georgia Series Joins the Fun!<\/b><\/p>\n
The PKBGT Georgia Series, in partnership with the Georgia State Golf Association, kicked off its inaugural season last week at the Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia, with three new tour members getting their first taste of PKB victory!<\/p>\n
Nadia Brown<\/strong> (Newnan, GA 2022) held off Madilyn Saxton<\/strong> (Guyton, GA 2025) to win by a shot on the Azalea Nine routing in Atlanta. Brown had quite the start making birdie on her first three holes. As the last putt dropped, Nadia signed for a round of 77 (+5). Saxton and Jocelyn Zeng<\/strong> (Johns Creek, GA 2025) tied for second at (+6), Saxton taking home the silver in the scorecard playoff.<\/p>\n Saanvi Venkatesh<\/strong> (Marietta, GA 2024) shot the low 18 hole score out of either division, firing a round of 74 (+2). Venkatesh’s two birdies proved to be the difference to beat Molly Spector<\/strong> (Atlanta, GA 2028) by a shot.<\/p>\n It was quite the shootout in the Discovery division with three players finishing with red numbers. Koiki Miyagi’s<\/strong> (Johns Creek, GA 2030) two eagles on the par fives was the deciding factor in the division as Miyagi defeated Kylie Chung<\/strong> (Suwanee, GA 2029) by one and Vivian Lott
