Conway, SC-<\/b> The\u00a0Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0returns to the Palmetto State for the annual Coastal Carolina Classic at the Hackler Course. The Hackler, home to the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Champions and the Coastal Carolina Professional Golf Management program, is one of the most popular events every year. Seven states are represented in this full field.<\/i><\/p>\n

Bell National<\/h2>\n

Macy Johnson<\/strong> (Salem, VA 2023) picked up right where she left off last weekend at the Kandi Comer Girls Classic with an opening round of 76 (+4) at the Coastal Carolina Classic to take a one-shot lead going into Sunday. Johnson carded four birdies on the day, including the first and tenth hole. Sitting a shot behind Johnson is Garland Gould<\/strong> (Raleigh, NC 2024), Mia Gray<\/strong> (Conway, SC 2023), and Lily Kate Watson<\/strong> (Raleigh, NC 2023). Joining Johnson in the final pairing will be Gould and Gray.<\/p>\n

Peyton O’Brien<\/strong> (Clemson, SC 2024) traveled the entirety of the state to take the lead at the Coastal Carolina Classic at the Hackler Course at Coastal. O’Brien will take a two-shot lead after her opening round 75 (+3). Kitson O’Neil<\/strong> (Pinehurst, NC 2023) sits in second at (+5). A trio is tied at third, with Ava Cottis<\/strong> (Savannah, GA 2025) joining O’Neil and O’Brien in the final grouping of the tournament.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.\u00a0 The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls.
