A total of eighty-five players accepted invitations to the prestigious women&#8217;s amateur event contested at Champions Retreat and Augusta National Golf Club.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>History was made in 2019 when PKB Alumna <strong>Anna Redding\u00a0<\/strong>became the first woman to ever hit a competitive shot at Augusta National Golf Club. Redding propelled her success at the ANWA to her first year on the LPGA Symetra Tour, where she finished inside the top 10 in the Volvik Race for the Card earning her full status for the 2021 season. Now, five of our former and current stars will hope to join the history books at Augusta National Golf Club.<\/p>\n<p>Representing the swinging girl will be<strong> Gina Kim<\/strong>, <strong>Emilia Migliaccio<\/strong>, <strong>Rachel Kuehn<\/strong>, and <strong>Aneka Seumanutafa<\/strong> as PKB Alumna. Joining the four PKB Alumna will be a two-time PKBGT Invitational Champion and UVA Women&#8217;s Golf Commit, <strong>Amanda Sambach<\/strong> (Davidson, NC 2021).<\/p>\n<p><strong>PKB Gang in the field<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gina Kim<\/strong>&#8211; Gina Kim heads back to Augusta, GA, hungry to be in contention after missing the cut in the inaugural 2019 ANWA. Kim, a junior at Duke University, is fresh off an outstanding performance at the Arnold Palmer Cup, going 3-1 in her matches. Earlier this year, the Chapel Hill native captured the Harder Hall Invitational. During Kim&#8217;s years on the PKB Girls&#8217; Tour, Gina won two Bell National events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emilia Migliaccio<\/strong>&#8211; No stranger to big-time stages, Migliaccio has won four events since joining the Demon Deacons Golf team four years ago, including the ACC Individual title in 2019. Migliaccio, a senior from Cary, NC, has represented Team USA in three Arnold Palmer Cups and competed in the inaugural ANWA. Migliaccio appeared in the first-ever PKB Virtual Experiences Question and Answer and captured the 2014 PKB Invitational at Grandover Resort.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachel Kuehn<\/strong>&#8211; The sophomore star at Wake Forest University, is fresh off an outstanding summer that capped off at the North\/South Amateur at Pinehurst, where she won the 118th edition of the Women&#8217;s championship. Kuehn was selected to the 2021 Arnold Palmer Cup and captured her first collegiate victory in her first start at the ANNIKA Invitational. During Kuehn&#8217;s junior golf career, Rachel captured the PKB Invitational in 2016 and the PKBGT National Tournament of Champions in 2018.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aneka Seumanutafa<\/strong>&#8211; The sophomore standout at Ohio State University, captured the Westbrook Spring Invitational during her freshman campaign with the Buckeyes and took home the 2017 North\/South Women&#8217;s Amateur title. Aneka was also named the 2019 Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Seumanutafa won the Bell Order of Merit title in 2015 after an outstanding season, including a victory and four top 8 finishes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amanda Sambach<\/strong>&#8211; If the PKB Girls&#8217; Tour Hall of Fame is ever created, Sambach would definitely be considered in the first class. Winner of two PKB Invitationals, the Davidson, NC native also won the Order of Merit title in all three divisions. Sambach has also notched a top 10 finish during her junior career on two occasions on the LPGA Symetra Tour. Sambach will join the UVA Women&#8217;s Golf roster this fall.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the PKBGT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls\u2019 golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.\u00a0 The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player\u2019s pace.
