Orlando, FL<\/strong>–The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded it’s Central Florida Regional Series presented by IOA Insurance and the IOA Classic on Sunday at the famous Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Florida. Alaqua Country Club, home of the annual Symetra Tour’s IOA Classic, welcomed the regions PKBGT tour members of the Orlando area to the “Most Exclusive Club in North Orlando” for the series finale.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the Prep Division, Megan Griggs<\/strong> (Ocala, FL 2023) led wire-to-wire to claim the spoils of victory of the two-day championship. Griggs scored two birdies on her final round en route to a two-stroke victory. This was Megan’s first tournament that she played in the CFL Series. Grigg’s only other start occurred just days after celebrating the new year at the Disney Girls Classic, where she placed fourth in the Prep Preview Division. Abigail Fernandez<\/strong> (Windermere, FL 2023), winner of three CFL Regional Events finished runner-up at Alaqua.<\/p>\n

    In the Futures Division, Katie Yang<\/strong> (Orlando, FL 2025) dominated shooting 74 \/ 74 = 148 (+4) to capture the title by an astounding seventeen shots! Yang birdied five of her thirty-six holes over two days of play at Alaqua Country Club. Yang’s victory is her maiden one on the PKB Girls Tour. Finishing runner-up was Mara King<\/strong> (Longwood, FL 2025), who took first in the series opener at Mayfair Country Club back on March 7th.<\/p>\n

      In the Discovery Division, Karolyna Adams<\/strong> (Saint Cloud, FL 2026) shot a great two day total of 73 (+1). Adams shot a flawless round of even-par on the final day of play with three birdies on the card. Karolyna won three of the five regional series and finished in the top three in the other two events. Finishing runner-up was Da’Mya Aubrey<\/strong> (Orlando, FL 2026) at (+18).<\/p>\n

        Abigail Fernandez<\/strong> (Windermere, FL 2023) finished first in the Storie Order of Merit Prep rankings after winning the first three events at Mayfair Country Club, Eagle Creek Golf Club, and Timacuan Golf and Country Club with her low round of 74 (+1) occurring at Eagle Creek. Her remaining two events she finished as the runner-up.<\/p>\n

          Darby Hancock<\/strong> (Lakeland, FL 2025) finished atop the Storie Order of Merit Futures rankings after winning the Central FL Series Classic at Timacuan Golf & Country Club, a fourth-place finish at Eagle Creek Golf Club and two fifth-place finishes. Darby’s best round came at Timacuan G & CC in round one, where she shot a (+3) round of 75.<\/p>\n
