Greenwood, SC<\/strong>–<\/span>On Saturday, February,29th the <\/span>Peggy Kirk Bell Girl’s Golf Tour<\/a> began play at the Stoney Point Girls Classic at the Links at Stoney Point, an annual stop for the Symetra Tour from 2015-2019. High winds were the main storylines for the thirty competitors in the Palmetto State.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prep Preview<\/h2>\n

Leading the Prep Preview field is Chloe Holder<\/strong> (Williamston, SC 2021), after shooting a round of 73 (+1). The Williamston, SC native carded one birdie in her opening round and holds a four-stroke lead heading into the final round. Holder is in her first event of the 2020 calendar, and her last victory dates back to 2018, where she won twice as a PKBGT member at Statesville CC and the Orange Whip Classic at Clemson.<\/p>\n

    Leading the Futures National field is Ivy Schulze<\/strong> (Anderson, SC 2023) after an opening round of 84 (+12). The Anderson, SC native carded two birdies in her opening round and holds a slim one-stroke lead heading into the final round. Schulze is playing in her second event of the 2020 calendar. Ivy is vying for her first PKBGT victory as she heads into tomorrow’s round.<\/p>\n
