On Saturday, December 28, the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour played the first round of the last event of 2019 in Southern Pines, NC with the Peggy Kirk Bell Junior.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament will featured players from both the Bell National and Futures National Divisions. 77 players took the course on in the mid-holiday break event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Leading the Bell National field is Nicole Adam (Pinehurst, NC 202o) after posting a round of 72. Adam posted 4 birdies in route to her first round score of even par.<\/p>\n

      Founded in 2007 by the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as a local girls\u2019 golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina, the tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player\u2019s pace.
