Double Dipping this Week

The Weather Shortened Grand Strand Girls Classic 
Bell National
Karsyn Roberts (Pikeville, NC 2024) takes the weather-shortened Grand Strand Girls Classic at Legends Golf Resort. Saturday’s round was canceled due to inclement weather. On Sunday, the Pikeville, NC native carded a round of 75 (+3) to win by two strokes over the Myrtle Beach local Madison Messimer (Myrtle Beach, SC 2025).
Futures National

Grace Lindsey (Mount Pleasant, SC 2025) finds success in her 12th event of the 2021 season to win her first Futures National title at the Legends Golf Resort. Despite making three doubles on the round, Lindsey remained calm making three birdies to win by a stroke.


Terrapin Girls Classic
Bell National
Maryanne Grace (Rye, NY 2023) wins her maiden PKBGT National Series title at the Terrapin Girls Classic. Led by a hot final round of 70 (-2) to win by a shot over the overnight leader Katie Park (Fairfax, VA 2022). Park, who shot the lone score in the red numbers on Saturday, fell victim to the tricky par-three third on Sunday and couldn’t recover from there opening the door for Grace to take the lead. Grace made the turn with the lead after a front-nine score of 33 (-3). Park finished runner-up at (+2).
Futures National

Like the Bell winner, Michelle Yeung (Clarkesville. MD 2027)  overpowered the field on Sunday to claim her first PKBGT Futures National title at Hunt Valley Country Club in Phoenix, MD. Yueng started the final round three shots off the lead, When Michelle’s final putt dropped on the par-three eighteenth she would win by five shots. Michelle took the lead with a birdie on the tenth and followed with two more on her back nine.
