Spottsylvania, VA–The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concluded it’s Middle Atlantic Regional Series in partnership with the Middle Atlantic PGA Section at Fawn Lake Country Club on Sunday. Fawn Lake Country Club, “Arnold Palmer’s Virginia masterpiece,” welcomed the regions PKBGT tour members of the DMV for the series finale.
In the Prep Division, Christina Cupelli (Fairfax, VA 2021) led wire-to-wire to claim the spoils of victory, firing 74 (+2) and 71 (-1) for a two day total of 145 (+1). Cupelli birdied six of the thirty-six holes en route to her second PKBGT title of the 2020 season. Cupelli won medalist honors in the Prep division of the 2019 Tournament of Champions at Pinehurst No. 8 in early December. Catherine Qui (Great Falls, VA 2024) finished second at (+5), and Amelia Cho (Ashburn, VA 2024) finished with the bronze at (+6). The most impressive performance of the weekend came from Ester Choi (Midlothian, VA 2021), who fell victim to the bogey train on Saturday but recovered on Sunday with a round of 69 (-3) to finish tied for fourth.

In the Futures Division, Kanchana Duangsam (Haymarket, VA 2026) ran away with a six-shot victory thanks to her rounds of 72 (-1) in round one and a blazing 69 (-4) on Sunday. The Haymarket, VA native carded nine birdies over the two rounds of play. This was Kanchana’s first appearance in the Middle Atlantic Regional Series this season. Finishing runner-up was Elsie MacCleery (Crozet, VA 2025) at (+1). Ten shots behind MacCleery finishing with bronze was Addie Doroh (Chrlottesville, VA 2025).

In the Discovery Division, Sydney Neou (Leesburg, VA 2027) captured gold after her consecutive rounds under par. Neou carded a 34 (-2) on Saturday and a 35 (-2) on Sunday to claim her fourth title of the Middle Atlantic Series. The Leesburg, VA native won at Hillendale CC, Bowling Green CC, Hidden Creek CC, and the finale at Fawn Lake CC. Joining her sister on the podium in Discovery was Kennedy MacCleery (Crozet, VA 2027) at (-1). Zoe Cusack (Potomac, MD 2026) took home the bronze at (+2) thanks to a final round 35 (-2).

Catherine Qui (Great Falls, VA 2024) finished first in the Prep Middle Atlantic Order of Merit rankings after an outstanding season where she placed in every event she competed in beside her first event of the season. Qui won at Hidden Creek Country Club and Meadows Farms (was Augustine GC), finished second at the Series Finale at Fawn Lake, and third at Bowling Green Countr Club and Pendleton Golf Club. Her scoring average over six events and eight rounds was 76.00, with a scoring differential of 2.60.

Cailyn Park (Fairfax, VA 2025) finished first in the Futures Middle Atlantic Order of Merit rankings thanks to two victories in her nine events played this season. The Fairfax, VA native took home medalist honors at Greene Hills Country Club and Meadows Farms (was Augustine GC). In addition to her two victories, Park placed inside the top-five at five more events. Park’s scoring average over nine events and eleven rounds was 81.43 with a scoring differential of 11.36
