Villa Rica, Ga. (Oct. 9, 2025) — At the first event of the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour’s 20th season, spirits were high as players from Florida to New Jersey aimed to take home the trophy. With 37 players between two divisions and two spots in the PKBGT Invitational on the line, players put forth their best on the scenic course just west of Atlanta.
Starting the weekend strong, Kanchana Duangsam (Orlando, FL 2026) in the Bell National division pulled ahead of the pack early with four birdies in her first round, ending the day with a strong 71 (-1). Jaden Mosca-Bolton (Decatur, GA 2029) followed not far behind with two birdies of her own in Round 1, finishing the round with a score of 76 (+4).
The end of the final round saw a handful of ties in the Bell National division, with players like Lainey Tse (Peachtree Corner, GA 2030) working hard to move up the standings and ending with a two-day total of 79-76 — 155 (+11) & finishing in a tie for second with Mosca-Bolton. In a scorecard playoff for the fourth place medal, Allison Maher (Suwanee, GA 2027) also scored better on day two, taking home the medal with a two-day total of 156 (+12). Continuing her impressive play from the first round, Duangsam fired a second 71 (-1) to win the Bell National division by 13 strokes!
The Futures National division had a very tight leaderboard all weekend, with the top six players staying within five strokes of each other. Leading the pack after Round 1 was Allie Nguyen (Columbus, GA 2029), with a score of 76 (+4). Lisa Zhang (Alpharetta, GA 2030) brought her A-game to Round 2, finishing with a two-day total of 154 (+10) to match Nguyen’s two-day total and force a playoff for the title! On the first sudden-death playoff hole, Zhang got up-and-down to save par after a wayward tee shot, matching Nguyen’s par. Both players had birdie putts on the second playoff hole where Zhang sank about a 20-footer to apply the pressure on Nguyen. Nguyen’s birdie effort to match just slid by the hole, giving Zhang the victory!
With two birdies during the second round, Stella Yang (Alpharetta, GA 2032) finished third, ending the tournament with a two-day score of 157 (+13). Showing her consistency, Elizabeth Ananthasane (Alpharetta, GA 2030) finished with a two-day total of 79-79 — 158 (+14) to place fourth for the tournament.
Congratulations to the champions of the Greater Atlanta Girls Classic and all of our medalists from the weekend. We also would like to thank the staff at Mirror Lake Golf Club for hosting us this weekend and their wonderful hospitality!

About the PKBGT
Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina. The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2025-2026 season will feature over 110 tournaments in 9 states on the East Coast, and with over 1,000 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only tour in the country.
