——- https://nb3.pkbgt.org/ ——-

The Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour and Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship will work together exclusively to host the first ever All Girls National Championship to air on Golf channel. Both organizations are very excited to provide this opportunity to girl’s golfers across the country. With a featured National Championship on the Golf Channel, over 100 girls will get exposure at the national level along with the thousands playing regionally across the country in the qualifiers.

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE ON THE NATIONAL STAGE

The Peggy Kirk Bell Golf Tour is the largest all girls golf tour in the nation. They have focused on the growth of competitive girl’s golf for over 15 years and have teamed up with the NB3 to continue accomplish their mission to attract more girls to the game. It was the NB3’s intention to always grow the series so that more junior golfers, both boys and girls, could make it to our championship. By working with the PKBGT, we will now be able to host more qualifiers with more participants and offer double the qualifying spots in the series. The 2022 girls’ qualification schedule will include over 22 regional tournaments, including 14 with girls-only fields to maximize the opportunity for girls across the country to qualify for the National Championship. You can review our tournament schedule for more information.

Girls from across the nation and the world will compete all year long with the goal of making it to the National Championship to compete on the national stage and the Golf Channel. The girl’s and boy’s championships will run consecutively in November in Kinder, Louisiana at the beautiful Koasati Pines Golf Club at Coushatta Resort.

SIGN-UP EARLY TO SKIP LOCAL QUALIFYING!

The Series is open to all girls who would like to participate, and no pre-requirements are necessary to sign up. We are kicking off our 3rd year in a big way by allowing the first 35 girls to sign up during the month of December for any Regional Qualifier on our schedule.

We have created more opportunities for the girls no matter what division they compete in to make it to the National Championship. The new divisions for 2022 are Girls 10-11,12-13,14-15 and 16-18. This means in 2022 we will crown four (4) girls division winners at our championship!

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR A REGIONAL QUALIFIER?

The first time you play in the series this year you will either compete at the first stage (18-hole local qualifier) or the second stage (36- hole regional qualifier).  Starting in January the only way you will be able to skip the first stage of qualifying is to be considered an exempt player, otherwise you must qualify to compete in a 36-hole regional. Our full schedule will come out along with our exemption criteria the first week of January.

We will be conducting qualify at the local level by playing in 18-hole tournaments or by playing in other local Partner tournaments. These partner events will be hosted by PGA Sections, State Golf Associations and or by a select few independent tours that we have partnered with in the upcoming year. Whether you play in a PKBGT/NB3 local qualifier or a partner event, the player’s 18-hole score will determine eligibility into one our regional qualifiers.

At each one of these local tournaments, there will a set number of players that will qualify to make to the regional qualifier. The maximum number of players will vary slightly depending on the regional tournament. We will take anywhere between 60 to 100 girls at our regional qualifiers.
