Greensboro, N.C. (Aug. 19, 2025) — As the 2025 season begins to wrap up, we’re looking ahead to what lies in wait for our 20th season as a tour! The 2026 season includes many events that you can register for today and plenty to look forward to in what’s soon to be unveiled.
Available Now
Classics and Partner Events
If you’re looking forward to getting a jumpstart on planning your golf schedule for this fall and winter, look no further: the PKBGT currently has 8 available Classics and other National Series events of which you can register for. We also have three partner events that you can register for throughout our website as well, ranging from the 16th annual CGA-PKBGT Jimmy Anderson Girls’ Invitational, with registration opening Aug. 18, to the 4th WIGF Atlanta Girls Cup, with registration opening to all players Aug. 14.
To kick off our 2026 Season, we will be hosting the Greater Atlanta Girls Classic at Chapel Hills Golf Club on October 4-5, 2025, where you can register here. Other open events include:
- Middle Atlantic Girls Classic at Hidden Creek CC — Oct. 18-19
- Bash at the Beach Girls Classic at Lockwood Folly Country Club — Nov. 29-30
- 17th Peggy Kirk Bell Junior at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club — Dec. 28-29
Championships
On top of our numerous Classics starting our season off, we have four invitation or application-only events coming soon that you can still play your way into. The most recent will be the PKBGT/NB3 Girls National Championship, held at Koasati Pines at Coushatta Resort on Nov. 2-4. There is still time to qualify for this tournament, as the final regional qualifier will be hosted Sept. 27-28 at Sapona Country Club.
The second of the four is the 17th PKBGT Invitational at the Country Club of Landfall (Dye), from Nov. 14-17, 2025. You can still play your way in to this event through the first four Classic events of the season, or you can apply to the at-large player pool by Monday, Oct. 2, in hopes of making it into the field via application.
Next is the Regional Tournament of Champions, held at Palmetto Dunes Resort on Nov. 22-23. As this event doesn’t have an application opportunity, you can still attempt to make the field through the final 10 Regional Series events left in the current season, as the winner of any PKBGT Regional Series event earns an automatic spot on the field.
Because the 2025 National Series season has already concluded, the National Tournament of Champions at Forest Creek Country Club (South) on Dec. 13-14 will be the only championship-level event of the three that is fully closed and can only be entered if you meet the criteria for one of the six eligible status groups. However, if you have this tournament in mind and wish to partake next year, check out our website here on how to use the 2026 National Series schedule to your benefit in order to qualify for the 2027 season’s National Tournament of Champions.
Coming Soon
While we’re looking forward to all of the events set in stone for this fall, we also have some events that are still in the making that you can keep your eye out for. Of those, we have four Classic events currently to be announced, as well as more information regarding some season favorites like Regional Invitational, the 9th Annual Linville Cup and Spring Bell Invitational. Make sure to keep up to date with us here, on social media like Instagram or Facebook, or on the website itself!

About the PKBGT
Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina. The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2023-2024 season will feature over 110 tournaments in 9 states on the East Coast, and with over 1,000 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only tour in the country.
