Preview: Bash at the Beach Girls Classic

Greensboro, NC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour travels to the eastern North Carolina seaboard for the Bash at the Beach Girls Classic at Lockwood Folly Golf Club. Lockwood Folly, located alongside the Intra-Coastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, will host the PKB Girls’ Tour for the third time. Three states will be represented between the two fields.

 

Prep Preview

In the Prep Preview division, Sixteen players will tee it up on the 5641-yard par 72 setup.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Hannah Lowery — Myrtle Beach, SC — Class of 2025 — #114 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Savannah Sansom — Myrtle Beach, SC — Class of 2025 — #175 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Miraya Lurie — Raleigh, NC — Class of 2027 — #177 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, November 5, at 8:30 AM EST (weather permitting).

Futures National

In the Futures National division, Twelve players will compete on the 5172-yard par 72 setup.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Kirstan Hodges — Concord, NC — Class of 2026 — #345 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Kellyn Arnold — Marvin, NC — Class of 2025 — #380 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Marlo Arndts — Cary, NC — Class of 2027 — #430 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, November 5, at 8:30 AM EST (weather permitting).

 

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
