Preview: Emma Talley Girls Tradition

Greensboro, NC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour continues the Tradition Series next weekend at the Emma Talley Girls Tradition presented by the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour at Bowling Green Country Club. With a special experience and the honor of being the inaugural winner of this new event on the line, seven states and Canada will be represented in the field of 60.

 

 

Bell National

In the Bell National Division, twenty-eight players will tee it up on the 5950 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Reagan Southerland — Atlanta, GA — Class of 2023 — #30 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Molly Hardwick — Franklin, TN — Class of 2022 — #44 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Anne-Lea Lavoie — Quebec, Canada — Class of 2023 — #79 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, April 17, at 7:30 AM EST (weather permitting) with a double tee start.

Futures National

In the Prep Preview Division, thirty-two players will compete on the 5264 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Yvette O’Brien — Greenwich, CT — Class of 2025 — #273 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Genevieve Jobin Colgan — Quebec, Canada — Class 0f 2023— #287 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Steele Southerland — Atlanta, GA  — Class of 2026 — #437 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, April 17, at 7:30 AM EST (weather permitting) with a double tee start.

 

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
