Preview: PKB Foundation Classic

Greensboro, NC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour makes another stop in Pinehurst, NC for the annual PKB Foundation Classic. Making its debut as a host facility for the PKB Girls Tour, the Talamore Mid South Club will provide plenty of drama coming down the stretch on Sunday before ultimately crowning our next champions. The field will represent eight different states and includes a handful of recent PKB champions.

Bell National

In the Prep Preview division, thirty-six players will tee it up on the 6000 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Morgan Ketchum — Winston-Salem, NC — Class of 2022 — #17 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Ava Lucas — Raleigh, NC — Class of 2021 — #20 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Emma Chen — Derwood, MD — Class of 2022 — #25 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, January 30, at 10:00 AM EST (weather permitting).

Futures National

In the Futures National division, thirty-six players will compete on the 5363 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

  • Garland Gould —Raleigh, NC — Class of 2024 — #94 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Kanchana Duangsam — Haymarket, VA — Class of 2026 — #113 on the PKBGT Performance Index
  • Jenna Kim — Raleigh, NC — Class of 2027 — #115 on the PKBGT Performance Index

Play will begin on Saturday, January 31, at 10:00 AM EST (weather permitting).

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
