On Saturday-Sunday January 4-5, the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour will play the Disney Girls Classic @ Walt Disney Resort (Lake Buena Vista) in Orlando, FL.
The Disney Girls Classic @ Walt Disney Resort serves as the first event of 2020 for the PKBGT and what a great place to kick off the year!
Prep Preview
In the Prep Preview division, 16 players will compete on the 5,700 yard setup to earn a spot into the 2020 PKBGT Tournament of Champions. In addition, the event will serve as a way to earn crucial Order of Merit spots and Performance Index recognition heading into the 2020 season filled with PKBGT Priority Based Entry fields.
Top ranked players in the field include:
- Grace Ridenour — Cary, NC — Class of 2025 — #75 on the PKBGT Performance Index
- Sydney Bowes — Bluffton, SC — Class of 2021— #215 on the PKBGT Performance Index
- Kirstyn Page — King, NC — Class of 2023 — #222 on the PKBGT Performance Index
Futures National Division
In the Futures National division, 21 players will compete on the 5,177 yard setup to earn a spot into the 2020 PKBGT Tournament of Champions. In addition, the event will serve as a way to earn crucial Order of Merit spots and Performance Index recognition heading into the 2020 season filled with PKBGT Priority Based Entry fields.

- Gracie Song — Waxhaw, NC — Class of 2026 — #188 on the PKBGT Performance Index
- Emerson B. Dever — Durham, NC — Class of 2025— #190 on the PKBGT Performance Index

About the PKBGT
Founded in 2007 by the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina, the tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2020 season will feature over 95 tournaments in 9 states on the East Coast and with over 900 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only tour in the country.
