Preview: North Carolina Series Finale at Colonial CC

Greensboro, NC- The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour concludes the 2020 North Carolina Regional Series this weekend in Thomasville, NC, at Colonial Country Club. Colonial Country Club, set in the rolling hills and hardwood forests of Thomasville, North Carolina. The best of the region, including the top-ranked players in the Storie Order of Merit, are vying for crucial OOM points, automatic invites into some of the best fall events, including the Prep, Futures, and Discovery Invitational as well as the PKBGT Tournament of Champions!

Prep

In the Prep division, thirty-seven players will compete on the 5703 yards par 72 set up.

Top-ranked players in the field include:

•  Halynn Lee — Cary, NC — Class of 2021 — #52 on the PKBGT Performance Index

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
