2025 PKBGT National Series Recap

Greensboro, N.C. — Throughout the 2025 season, the 48 National Series events held this season varied across Classics, Traditions, and Championship-level events. Between 12 Traditions, which served as qualifiers for the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Championship, 24 regular-season National events, including Classics, and 12 Championship-level events, this season’s National Series schedule stayed quite busy. With 2,550 players competed between all 48 events, averaging approximately 53 players per event, PKBGT players kept their calendars just as full, with our highest attended event being the second annual LPGA*USGA National Championship at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club.

About the PKBGT

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace. The 2023-2024 season will feature over 110 tournaments in 9 states on the East Coast, and with over 1,000 members, the PKBGT is the largest girl’s only tour in the country.  Learn more about the PKBGT at http://www.pkbgt.org/.
