Recap: Southeast Series Finale at The GC at Wescott Plantation

On Saturday-Sunday, August 25-26, the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour in partnership with the WSCGA Junior Golf Foundation played the  Southeast Series Finale event at The GC at Wescott Plantation in North Charleston, SC.

The SC One-Day Series included 8 One-Day tournaments in the South Carolina region, concluding this weekend with a two-day Series Finale. These events offer innovative yardage-based divisions to girls aged 9-17. The PKBGT Series Progression allows players to progress towards playing collegiate golf by playing yardage/skill appropriate tournaments as they develop their game.

One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The Southeast Series Finale at The GC at Wescott Plantation features a field of 20 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour.
