Recap: NC One-Day Series at Maple Chase G and CC

On Saturday, August 25th, the 2018 Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour played the North Carolina One-Day Series at Maple Chase G&CC.

The NC One-Day Series will include 11 One-Day tournaments in North Carolina, concluding with a two-day Series Finale at the end of the season. These events offer innovative yardage-based divisions to girls aged 9-17. The PKBGT Series Progression allows players to progress towards playing collegiate golf by playing yardage/skill appropriate tournaments as they develop their game.

One-day tournaments are designed for golfers of all skill levels, but are a great place for development golfers to “get in to the swing of things” playing tournament golf. The goal of One-Day Open Series events is to provide a fun and friendly tournament on a premium golf course. The North Carolina One-Day Series event at Maple Chase G&CC featured a field of 62 players from the PKB Girls’ Golf Tour, the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour.
