The PKBGT is excited to pair up with the Tarheel Golf Foundation for the Mixed Team Challenge at MacGregor Downs Country Club! This is the first year that the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour has hosted a mixed team event. There are 12 teams registered for the event and format of the will be a boy/girl partner best ball.
Macgregor Downs CC was founded in 1967 and played host to the 1973 PGA Match Play Championship and the first Collegiate Amateur Championship. In 2005 the course was named among the top-50 courses in North Carolina.
Prizes will be awarded to the top placing boy/girl team. The PKBGT player will also earn an invitation to the PKBGT Tournament of Champions that will be play on December 3-4, 2016 at Pinehurst No. 8.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
