On Sunday-Monday, July 31st-August 1st, the PKBGT will play the Bash at the Beach Classic @ River Landing. The course is home to the University of North Carolina Wilmington golf teams. The facility features two championship courses, River and Landing Course. The PKBGT will host the 
event at the River Course.
Leading the Prep Series is Emelia Pack (Browns Summit, NC 2019) after firing an even par 72 and in the lead by 6 shots. In second place after day one is Sarah Funderburg (Wilmington, NC 2018) after shooting a 78. In a tie for third is Sydney Leyerle (Helena, OH 2021) and Mackenzie Battle (Aberdeen, NC 2018) who have matching scores of 79. In fifth place is Alexis Sudjianto (Charlotte, NC 2019) after shooting 2019.
Awards will be presented to the top-5 players in the Prep Series. We look forward to a great event!
The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
