On Sunday-Monday, July 31st-August 1st, the PKBGT played the Bash at the Beach Classic @ River Landing. The course is home to the University of North Carolina Wilmington golf teams. The facility features two championship courses, River and Landing Course. The PKBGT will host the 
event at the River Course.
Winning the Prep Series was Emelia Pack (Browns Summit, NC 2019) with a two day total of eight over par, 72-80-152. Finishing in second place was Sarah Funderburg (Wilmington, NC 2018) witha pair of 78’s and a two day total of 156. Only two shots back and finishing in third is Mackenzie Battle (Aberdeen, NC 2018) with a two day total of 79-79-158. Finishing in fourth place is Syndey Leyerle (Helena, OH 2021) with a two day total of 79-81-160. Rounding out the top five and finishing fifth is Jayla Rogers (Wilmington, NC 2019) with a two day total of 81-80-161.

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls’ Golf Tour is an initiative of the Triad Youth Golf Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls’ golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls’ golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation’s largest “girls’ only” junior tour with over 450 members in 2015 and 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
