Since the PKBGT began in 2007, our goal has been to provide an opportunity and a space for girls to compete and be noticed by collegiate coaches.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are excited to announce that just 12 years later, over 800 girls have committed or signed to play collegiate golf! A HUGE congratulations to the Class of 2019, who signed their National Letters of Intent over the past week to play collegiate golf!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> was well represented on National Signing Day. In total, 33 current PKB members signed their National Letter of Intent. By inking a commitment to their respective school, each player reached the culmination of the hard work they put in since first picking up a club. <\/span><\/p>\n

In total, the Class of 2019 committed to 30 different teams throughout 12 states between two NCAA Divisions. While some players are making the tour\u2019s first mark on a collegiate program, others will feel right at home joining several PKB alumni turned teammates.<\/span><\/p>\n

First Timers<\/strong><\/h1>\n

2019 will mark the first PKB representation on four new campuses. These players will open the door for their fellow tour members to follow their footsteps in future years and showcase the talents of the PKBGT to coaches who\u2019ve never before experienced the culture. <\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 700 members in 2018 and 750 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
