Magnolia Green, was ranked #8 on Golf Digest&#8217;s Top 10 2015 Best New Courses, is a\u00a0Nicklaus Design in association with Tom Clark\u00a0and a beautiful course for this two-day tournament. The event features a field 26 players from 3 states in the Prep and Futures Series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Prep Series field features 11 golfers, highlighted by a few of the top players on the 2017 PKBGT Prep MA Series Order of Merit list, including: Rory Weinfurther (Midlothian, VA 2020), Jessica Rathbone (Montpelier, VA 2020), and Madison Isaacson (Greensboro, NC 2018). Weinfurther is coming into this event with two Top &#8211; 10 finishes. Rathbone is hoping to continue her great play after winning the Future&#8217;s Series at the Boar&#8217;s Head Inn Classic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Futures Series field features 15\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">golfers, highlighted by a number of top players on the 2017 PKBGT Futures Series Order of Merit list, including: Hannah Jonely (Ashburn, VA 2020), \u00a0and Parker Perry (Richmond, VA 2020). Perry is 2nd on the Futures Series Order of Merit and coming into the event at Magnolia Green after a second place finish at the Boar&#8217;s Head Inn Classic. Jonely is also coming into this event after a T-3 finish at Boar&#8217;s Head Inn Classic and is ranked T-38 on the Futures Series ORder of Merit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Greater Richmond Classic brings together players from \u00a0Maryland, North Carolina, and\u00a0Virginia. It should be a great event!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pkbgt.org\">Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a>\u00a0is an initiative of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tygf.org\">Triad Youth Golf Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation aimed at increasing learning and playing opportunities for youth golfers. Based out of Greensboro, North Carolina, the PKBGT offers affordable, high-quality nationally ranked girls\u2019 golf tournaments designed to prepare junior girls\u2019 golfers for high school and collegiate golf. The PKBGT is the nation\u2019s largest \u201cgirls\u2019 only\u201d junior tour with over 550 members in 2016 and over 450 girls playing in or committed to collegiate golf.
