(Jan. 12, 2026) \u2014<\/strong> As the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour returned to Kiawah Resort for the first time in five years, players were looking forward to the opportunity to compete at a course that received the 2019 Charleston Golf Course Owners Association Course of the Year at this year’s Kiawah Resort Girls Classic on the Oak Point course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Bell National division, Sophie Dinh<\/strong> (Duluth, Ga. 2030) made an eagle on fourth hole during the second round on her way to securing her victory, ending the weekend with a total of 75-69 \u2014 144 (E). Making two birdies in the first round, Pearl Hughes<\/strong> (Dawsonville, Ga. 2027) concluded the weekend in second with a two-day score of 73-76 \u2014 149 (+5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two birdies on the back nine on Sunday helped Alexa Mohler<\/strong> (Richmond Hill, Ga. 2027) to finish in third, ending the weekend with a two-day total of 73-77 \u2014 150 (+6). Finishing in a tie for fourth, Meredith Finger<\/strong> (Wilmington, Del. 2026) made four birdies between both rounds, finishing the weekend with a two-day score of 76-76 \u2014 152 (+8). Alexis Ogden<\/strong> (Wilmington, N.C. 2030) had 27 holes of par or better, concluding the tournament with a total of 73-79 \u2014 152 (+8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bell National Medalists<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In the Prep Preview division, Sadie Westbrook<\/strong> (Houston, Texas 2028) took home the winning hardware with her two birdies in the final round, finishing the tournament with a two-day score of 77-75 \u2014 152 (+8). Making four birdies over the weekend, Elin Sarstrand<\/strong> (Spartanburg, S.C. 2029) ended the weekend in second with a total of 77-77 \u2014 154 (+10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting the weekend off with nine consecutive holes of even par, Nealy Pretulak<\/strong> (Duncan, S.C. 2030) concluded the tournament in third with a two-day score of 77-78 \u2014 155 (+11). Making an eagle on the fourth hole during the final round helped Bria Regina<\/strong> (Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 2028) to finish the weekend in fourth place with a two-day total 81-75 \u2014 156 (+12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prep Preview Medalists<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

With seven birdies made over both rounds, Brady Wolfe<\/strong> (Blythewood, S.C. 2032) clinched first in the Futures National division, ending the tournament with a two-day score of 75-74 \u2014 149 (+5). Making four birdies during the final round, Eloise Fetzer<\/strong> (Daniel Island, S.C. 2032) concluded the weekend in second with a total of 79-73 \u2014 152 (+8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 22 holes of par or better over the tournament, Calie Freda<\/strong> (Cornelius, N.C. 2031) finished third with a two-day score of 77-78 \u2014 155 (+11). With two birdies during the first round, Maya Sarstrand<\/strong> (Spartanburg, S.C. 2030) finished in fourth, concluding the tournament with a total of 83-79 \u2014 162 (+18).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to the champions of the Kiawah Resort Girls Classic and all of our medalists from this weekend! We also extend a substantial thank you to all of the staff at Kiawah Island Golf Resort for hosting us this weekend and all of their wonderful hospitality. Over the weekend of January 17th, the PKBGT will be heading to both Mid Pines Golf Club and the Country Club of Columbus for the 9th Linville Cup and the RecruitPKB Championship, respectively!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls’ golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.  The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player’s pace.
