Palmyra, VA<\/b>–<\/strong> The <\/i>Peggy Kirk Bell Girls\u2019 Golf Tour<\/a> headed to\u00a0Lake Monticello Golf Club for the final round\u00a0of the Commonwealth Girls Classic.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Bell National<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Macie Rasmussen<\/strong>\u00a0(Chesapeake, VA 2027) entered Sunday three strokes behind overnight leader Vincenza Papa<\/strong>\u00a0(Foster, RI 2026). Papa and Rasmussen went back and forth on Sunday but Rasmussen caught fire down the stretch birdieing three of her final eight holes. Her birdie on the par-5 eighteenth would secure her a one stroke victory. Anne-Lea Lavoie<\/strong>\u00a0(Quebec City, Canada 2023) bettered her opening round by two strokes and made three birdies over the two days to finish in solo third. Rhianna Gooneratne<\/strong>\u00a0(Plymouth Meeting, PA 2025) and Macy Johnson<\/strong>\u00a0(Salem, VA 2023) matched each other’s rounds on Saturday and Sunday and tied for fourth place.<\/p>\n

Mia Poirier\u00a0<\/b>(Victoriaville, Canada 2026) was tied for third place after the first round but caught fire on Sunday to run away with the championship. Poirier made three birdies on Sunday including a pair of back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17 to win by three strokes. Sydney Dinh<\/strong>\u00a0<\/b>(Fairfax, VA 2028) and Elle Overly\u00a0<\/b>(Lititz, PA 2025) tied for second place with a score of 163 (+19) for the tournament. Ryland Portadin\u00a0<\/strong>(Colts Neck, NJ 2029) played consistent all weekend shooting rounds of 83 and 81 to finish in solo fourth.<\/p>\n
