Howie in the Hills,<\/strong> FL<\/strong>– Eleven former PKBGT players competed in the Symetra Tour field this weekend for the Mission Inn Resort and Club Championship presented by IOA. The final two Symetra Tour events will take place in the Tarheel State before their season concludes.<\/em><\/p>\n

The list of former PKBGT players in the pros continues to rise every single year. Just a few weeks ago, Laura Wearn<\/strong> captured her third Symetra Tour title at the IOA Golf Classic. A total of eleven made the trip to southern Florida for the third to last event of the shortened 2020 Symetra Tour tournament schedule due to COVID-19. Making her first official start in a professional event was current Wake Forest University star Rachel Keuhn.<\/p>\n

Anna Redding<\/strong>– 3rd<\/p>\n

Lauren Coughlin<\/strong>– T21<\/p>\n

Bailey Tardy<\/strong>– T221<\/p>\n

Hayley Harford<\/strong>– T21<\/p>\n

Rachel Kuehn (a)<\/strong>– T28<\/p>\n

Janet Mao<\/strong>– T39<\/p>\n

Amanda Doherty<\/strong>– T46<\/p>\n

Allison Emrey<\/strong>, Eunice Yi<\/strong>, Natalie Srinivasan<\/strong> & Kendra Dalton<\/strong> were also in the field but missed the cut.<\/p>\n

Bailey Tardy and Anna Redding are projected to get their LPGA Tour cards at the conclusion of the season with Tardy currently sitting 3rd on the money list and Redding at 10th. The top 10 receive full status on the LPGA Tour for next season at the end of the year.<\/p>\n

About the PKBGT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 2007 by Girls Golf of America, a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization, a local girls\u2019 golf tour in the Triad region of North Carolina.\u00a0 The tour began as a simple concept: create more effective competitive playing opportunities for girls. By utilizing innovative yardage-based divisions instead of the traditional age-based format, the tour focused on developing tournament experience at the player\u2019s pace.
